  1. Restriction enzyme (RE) digestion ddPCR cg05575921 (AHRR) values were significantly lower compared to array derived values (*paired t test, P < 0.0001) in both ex and current smokers. There was no significant difference (p = 0.28) between values in never smokers. Cardiovascular disease included documented medical history of ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack, coronary heart disease or peripheral artery disease [8].
