Bar graphs representing transcript expression profiles of 10 differentially methylated genes (DMGs) between CGCs (C-CCs) of controls (n = 17) and women with PCOS (P-CCs, n = 17) are shown in the figure. Panel (a) represents transcript expression data of genes identified as hypomethylated in PCOS by NGS analysis while (b) shows transcript profiling of hypermethylated genes. Fold change was evaluated using the 2-ΔΔCt method, where the expression was normalized to 18s levels, using a CGC calibrator sample. Data are presented as “mean + SEM.” *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, 'ns' denotes no significant change. Data are analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test.
