Relationship between p14ARFpromoter methylation and microsatellite instability (MSI) status. The MSI-high (MSI-H) tumors had an overall higher frequency of p14ARF promoter methylation compared with MSS tumors, but after stratification by restricted p53 overexpression, the relationship between p14ARF methylation and MSI status was no longer significant.
