For each of the five studies and two probe types (I and II), the relationship between probe oligonucleotide melting temperature (Tm) and batch correction (mean β shift) was examined. A subset of Type II probes in the EpiSCOPE and NOVI study data were observed to require more batch correction when the probe Tm is low
