VPA does not interfere with the synthesis of SARS-CoV-2 proteins. HK-2 and Huh-7 cells were infected with SARS-CoV-2 (MOI 0.5), and treated with VPA (4, 8, and 16 mM) 1 hpi. gRNA/sg mRNA expression levels (a) and protein levels (b) of protein N were analyzed at 6 and 16 hpi.
