General design. The 4 groups of samples obtained by brush-based cytology (T = tumor, C = Contralateral to tumor, E = wood dust-exposed mucosa without tumor, N = Normal unexposed mucosa) were compared with each other in transcriptome analysis. Tumor biopsies were compared with samples of healthy mucosa (GEO database GSE65163) [17] in methylome analysis
