One of the ZNFs examined (ZFP57) was hypomethylated at puberty in peripheral blood cells. The other five were hypermethylated. c Correlation analysis shows that a loss in ZNF597 expression observed at the time of monkey puberty is negatively correlated to the increase in ZFP57 mRNA levels detected at this time.
