Elevated total plasma DNA after cisplatin-based chemotherapy was correlated with the adverse events grade in ALC patients of training study. a Toxicities of platinum-based regimens mainly occurred in 84 cases with DNA24 h/DNA0 h > 2, especially hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, and gastrointestinal symptoms. b The incidence of adverse events above grade 1 in the DNA24 h/DNA0 h > 2 case group was significantly elevated compared with that in the DNA24 h/DNA0 h ≤ 2 case group (13.18 vs. 6.77 %, P < 0.05)
